The Hyderabad House redesigned by Indian architecture offices Rajiv Saini & Associates in Hyderabad, India. The additional rooms got cantilevered over existing structure for example the copper clad gym overlooking the front garden is a newly added cantilevered steel structure,as are the guest rooms and the steel and glass study attached to the master suite, redundant spaces got axed / demolished.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) recently design a modern office building for China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). This building situated at a major crossroads along the Second Ring Road in Beijing’s eastern Dongcheng district, the CNOOC headquarters building acts as an urban counter-point to the massive Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building situated on the opposing corner.

The Orange Cube Building by Jakob + MacFarlane Architects

The Orange Cube Building project is designed by Jakob + MacFarlane Architects as a simple orthogonal (cube) into which a giant hole is carved, responding to necessities of light, air movement and views. Maison du Conseil Général Building in France by L’Autre Fabrique Architectures

The General Council building redesigned by L’Autre Fabrique Architectures occupies three floors of a former tobacco factory in Saint-Marcellin. A large steel frame rises above the square, highlighting the change and the name of the institution.

The building is separated into distinct sections of operation; on the ground floor, the lobby is generously sized to house temporary exhibitions relating to the actions of the Maison du Conseil Général.
