Situated at Plaza de la Encarnacion – Seville Spain, Metropol Parasol become the world’s largest wooden structure in the world. Designed by Jurgen Mayer H. Architects, Metropol’s interlocking honeycomb of wooden panels rise from concrete bases, which are positioned to form canopies and walkways below the parasols.
The largely open-air volume houses a variety of programs, including a museum, farmers market, elevated plaza and restaurant, and is intended as a place that will activate the public square, making it attractive for both tourists and locals.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) recently design a modern office building for China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). This building situated at a major crossroads along the Second Ring Road in Beijing’s eastern Dongcheng district, the CNOOC headquarters building acts as an urban counter-point to the massive Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building situated on the opposing corner.

The 23.2 House is a single family house created by Omer Arbel architect sited on a large rural acreage outside Vancouver in the West Coast of Canada. The Xi Gallery building sited adjacent to Hapjeong Subway Station along the ‘Yangwha Expressway’ in Seogyo-dong, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Projected by SKM Architects, this is a temporary facility for developers to sell apartments that they have developed. These facilities are commonly called ‘Model Houses’ or ‘Sample Houses’ and are made out of reusable steel structures and economical modular panels and normally destroyed after 3~5 years of use. This modern apartment situated in downtown Montreal, Quebec. The penthouse space consisted of a large 3,300 sq. ft. unit assembled from two penthouses on the 23rd floor. The penthouse comprises two zones, the shared areas consists of the living room, dining room and kitchen as well as a living area; and “the private” quarters of the client and his son.
