This sustainable residential building created by Scott M Kemp Architect on the south banks of the Fraser River, Canada. The 23.2 House is a single family house created by Omer Arbel architect sited on a large rural acreage outside Vancouver in the West Coast of Canada. The design of the house itself began, as a point of departure, with a depository of one hundred year old Douglas Fir beams reclaimed from a series of burned down ware- houses. Situated near Coopers beach New Zealand, this house consists of living pavilion, bedroom block, garage and the corridor. The living pavilion sits apart to the north of the bedroom block and references a campsite in homage to the campground that occupied this area for many years.
