The General Council building redesigned by L’Autre Fabrique Architectures occupies three floors of a former tobacco factory in Saint-Marcellin. A large steel frame rises above the square, highlighting the change and the name of the institution.
The building is separated into distinct sections of operation; on the ground floor, the lobby is generously sized to house temporary exhibitions relating to the actions of the Maison du Conseil Général.
