The Plaza Residences building is flanked by two cultural landmarks that enroot it with the historic past of the area, the Monument to Columbus and the Monument to the Revolution. The Casa Larga designed by Swiss architect Daniele Claudio Taddei, sited at the edge of the village in the middle of a Ticinese vineyard, jutting high above Lake Maggiore, in Brissago Switzerland. The principle of openness determined the division of space. On the top floor, the open plan kitchen transitions into a spacious living area that flows out onto the south-facing terrace. Najjar & Najjar Architects recently designed a beautiful house overlooking Linz the capital of Upper Austria. The site is accessed from the road behind leading down hills to the building’s main entrance, covered by an extended cantilever roof structure. On the street side the building facade is closed with natural stonework to provide intimacy towards the street. From there another couple of steps lead to a comfortable area where one can lounge on the sofa or chaise lounge overlooking the swimming pool and enjoying the marvellous view over the city.  …

Situated in San Fransisco California, SB Architects created contemporary home with warm interior space. This home more contemporary approach to a housing solution but manages to translate the needs of a family into a comprehensive layout.
